The Embassy Riverine location is Tarahunase, a village north of Yelahanka in North Bengaluru, postcode 562157. Embassy's presentation calls it "north Yelahanka". Riverine is the villa half of the Embassy Origins township, on land that has been in the Embassy family for more than thirty years. Embassy says the airport is around 20 minutes away.
Riverine's apartment neighbour, Embassy South Reserve, sits in the same township, and the villas lie about 200 metres to its north. So the distances below are close for both.
Where exactly is Embassy Riverine?
On Embassy's location map, the township sits between Vidyashilp University to the north and Stonehill International School to the south, beside Tarahunase Lake. Chapparakallu Road runs on its eastern side. Doddaballapura Main Road and Rajanukunte railway station lie to the west, and Bellary Road (NH 44), the main road to the airport, lies further east.
Embassy's map is marked "not to scale" and prints no distances. The figures below are our own, measured in a straight line on OpenStreetMap. The map on our location section shows the exact pin and lets you check the drive to any place.
What is within 5 km?
| Place | Straight line distance |
|---|---|
| Embassy International Riding School | About 1.2 km |
| Gurukul School | About 1.2 km |
| Stonehill International School | About 1.5 km |
| Padukone Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence | About 1.7 km |
| Vidyashilp University | About 2.1 km |
| Sadhu Vaswani International School | About 2.3 km |
| Rajanukunte railway station | About 3.6 km |
| Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology | About 3.8 km |
| Clarks Exotica resort | About 4.7 km |
Distances are measured from the Embassy Origins site and hold to within a few hundred metres for any villa. Road distances are longer.
How far is Embassy Riverine from the airport?
| Destination | Straight line distance |
|---|---|
| Yelahanka Junction railway station | About 8.7 km |
| Kempegowda International Airport | About 12 km |
| Phoenix Mall of Asia | About 12.5 km |
| Manyata Tech Park | About 15 km |
Embassy's press release puts the airport at around 20 minutes. For buyers who fly often, or family abroad who visit, that is one of the location's clearest strengths. Embassy's map also marks the upcoming metro Blue Line towards the airport, but no station is close to the site today.
Schools are the strong point
For families, few villa locations in Bengaluru put this many schools within 2.5 km. Gurukul School and Stonehill International School are the closest. Sadhu Vaswani International School and Vidyashilp University are a little further. Check admissions, bus routes and fees directly with each school, and match the school year to the possession date on the RERA filing.
What is missing nearby?
An honest answer: Tarahunase is a quiet, green belt, not a finished suburb. There is no metro station nearby. Larger supermarkets, hospitals and restaurants mean a drive towards Yelahanka. Embassy's map marks Manipal Hospital, Sparsh Hospital and Decathlon among the places a drive away. The nearest clinics we found are small ones around Rajanukunte, 3 to 4 km away.
That is the trade for the setting. The same open land is why Embassy could plan five lakes, a riparian corridor of about 41 acres and more than 4,000 trees. Our Embassy Riverine review weighs the two sides.
Who will this location suit?
It suits families who want space and a short school run, people who work near the airport or in the north of the city, and buyers abroad. It suits less well anyone with a daily commute to Whitefield, Electronic City or the Outer Ring Road, which is long at peak hours.
If you are weighing the villas against the apartments next door, our comparison of Riverine and South Reserve covers both.
Getting there for a site visit
From the airport, the usual route runs south on Bellary Road (NH 44), then west past Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology towards Stonehill International School. From the city, drive north on Bellary Road past Yelahanka and take the same turn. Stonehill International School and the Embassy International Riding School are the easiest landmarks to give a driver.
Go at the time of day you would really travel. A weekday morning shows you the traffic on Bellary Road, and a weekend shows you how quiet the area is.
